This is the working map of the south west corner of the Riverlands where you house resides. For the purposes of this game 'domains' are two leagues squared so a box of 4. This is the time it takes to walk a league while on different terrain: - Grassland: 1:20 hr - Forest: 1:40 hr - Hills: 2:00 hr - Wetlands: 2:00 hr Note: when on a road it takes 1hr to travel a league. The houses on the map are all non canonical minor houses with the exception of House Piper, House Tully and House Brax. On the left hand side are the houses loyal to the Lannisters while on the right are the houses loyal to the Tullys. Some locations of Interest: Market Town is an independent town. No lord holds direct influence over this town and that's the way the people like it. Almost anything can be purchased here and Mayor Esra Stone is welcoming to travelers but has a reputation as a man not to be trifled with. Orphan's Hill is a hill just outside the domain of House Cytell. It was a place of worship when the old gods held sway over the land. Today the small folk that can not sustain another mouth to feed risk the trek up the massive hill with their unwanted child and leave the child there to the elements. Children left on the hill are never spoken of by the family that exiled them and those very rare few that find their way back home are shunned and treated as a curse. The practice of leaving children to the elements has been illegal since the Andal conquest and the spread of the Seven yet still it happens in secret. Traitor's Grove is the name people have for the outskirts of Alton's forest. It is there that Alton hangs those that do him wrong which includes those he singles out as traitors, schemers or hostiles. Those that can withstand the smell of rot can sometimes find nightshade growing among the trees. Claw Point is a tower that belonged to a now extinct House Caspian. The Tully's have not elevated anyone to claim the location though House Caster and House Riverly have been known to walk the unclaimed lands, perhaps scouting in a bid to claim the land or perhaps they are searching to see if rumors of a Valaryan sword buried on the grounds were true. The following is a list of the noble houses found on the map that you will interact with during the campaign. It has information your characters would know as higher ups of House Cytell.
Every house has a disposition towards another. If it is not listed bellow consider it to be neutral. This will provide you with a general understanding of increased or decreased difficulties for intrigues with members of those houses. Keep in mind that this is a general view and some members of these houses may have a different disposition than their counterparts.(disposition is on page 143)
House Riverly
Powerful Minor House
Motto: “One Thousand Hooves as One”
Lord: Tomas Riverly
Lady: Genevieve Riverly (Formerly of House Ashford of the Reach)
Heir: Ser Steven Riverly, Ser Karson Riverly (DEAD)
Information you know:
House Riverly lives and dies on the horse. They have a large cavalry and plenty of lands to let their horse herds roam. They are steadfast in their loyalty to the Tullys and consider themselves the strongest house in the region. The road that leads from Darken Steed to the Stoney Sept was built by the Riverlys many years ago and there are stones on the road spaced every league that depict the Riverly horse. Some suspect this is a ploy to spread their influence or to set claim to the territory which the Riverly’s do not confirm nor deny. Riverly is hostile to House Osten though the reason for the hostility has not been made known to the other houses. It also looks upon House Cytell and Caster suspiciously ever since the War of the Usurper regarding them as ‘lack luster loyalists’
House Riverly dislikes House Cytell and House Caster
House Nole
Minor House, Banner house of House Riverly
Motto: “Lead the Way”
Lord: Ser Joules Nole
Lady: Monica Nole (Formerly a Riverly)
Heirs: Dustin Nole and Joules Nole II
Information you know:
House Nole was once an influential house in the region but Robert’s Rebellion reduced it to a shadow of its former self. The house gave its all to Robert’s cause and would fight in the front lines with Ser Joules leading the way. On the Trident the house’s forces were nearly decimated, though Joules himself was saved by Tomas Riverly. In gratitude he promised Tomas that once he became heir he would swear fealty to house Riverly and so a few years later when the elder Nole died of natural causes Joules did as he said he would. The day was marked by adding the Riverly horse to the crest of House Nole.
Dustin and Joules Nole were born twins fifteen years ago and though Dustin saw the light of day first making him heir. The twins are prime horsemen and eagerly challenge anyone that even slightly challenges their honor.
Ever since Evelyn Cytell’s body was found House Cole has a dislike for House Cytell
House Cynwyn
Minor House
Motto: “The Eye Judges” Lord: Alon Cynwyn
Lady: Ezra Cynwyn (A sister to Roland Cytell, she has been dead for nine years when her horse threw her off)
Heirs: None
Information you know:
Ever since the death of Ezra House Cynwyn has become a shadow. Where once the lord was inviting and hospitable now no one can enter Alon’s woods without taking the road to Alon’s Eye where the House Lord inspects his visitors to see if they are worthy to cross. If they are worthy he lets them on their way otherwise he throws them from his forest. Alon is very reclusive and keeps many secrets. Many have gone into the woods to peek or spy on Alon’s Tower but most of them end up in Traitor’s Grove, their blood feeding the nightshade that grows there. Those that have seen Alon describe him as wearing a weirwood mask and cavorting with a northern woman and strange alchemists.
House Cynwyn is unfriendly towards all houses
House Osten
Minor House
Motto: “Our Honor is Gold”
Lord: Old Ors Osten
Lady: Lasiandra Osten (Formerly of a Myrish merchant family)
Heirs: Kevin Osten, Ser Greg Osten, Andrian Osten and Tanya Osten
Information you know:
House Osten and House Brax are the strongest eastern most banner houses loyal to the Lannisters. The house has a rich yet odd history. Every few generations the lord of the house would marry a Myrish merchant lord’s daughter and the influences of Essos can be felt through the house. While other houses are more interested in winning tournaments and honor House Osten is keener on increasing its wealth and seeing that they achieve financial gain through their schemes. There is hostility between House Osten and Riverly though the cause for it can only be speculated.
House Osten is neutral to House Cytell.
Ser Greg Osten served as squire to Jamie Lannister and often accompanies the Lannisters as a member of their guard.
House Brax and House Piper are both in the Campaign guide. You can also do a Wikipedia search for them. Both of these houses are neutral to House Cytell and dislike each other.
House Caster is friendly to House Cytell and dislikes House River

Zig made this NPC house using the rolling method, it will be a house close to your lands and ripe for interaction. You know certain things about everyone on the map. I am writing up what you know of them as we speak but you know everything that is in the house summary above. You know that Simon Caster is a very easy going person that extends his hospitality to any noble that seeks to stay at Caster Hall and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt while his wife is more stern and cautious. You know that House Caster and Riverly dislike each other because Riverly petitioned King Robert to dismantle House Caster and give it to a more loyal house. Robert allowed House Caster to continue on account of Caster swearing fealty after the Targaryan defeat. They are neutral to you though both of your houses are lorded over by House Tully.
